Booking Information for
Revivals and Concerts are the main focus of the group. During
a revival, the family leads music, provides special numbers, George
and David preach, and David & Krista hold the children's sessions. |
Who Are The Melton's?The Melton's are George and Nedra Melton, their son David and his wife Krista. They are a full time Southern Gospel Quartet based out of Joplin, MO. They travel across the nation spreading the Gospel primarily through music. George and David are ordained ministers and preach as well as sing. The Melton's give Concerts, hold Revivals, and sing at a variety of events including Camps, and Gospel Sings. They believe they have been called to encourage believers, bring the lost to Christ, and help connect churches to one another. They strive to accomplish this by bringing uplifting messages through their distinctive blend of Southern Gospel Music. In 1987, George and Nedra felt called to leave the located ministry, step out in faith and begin the Melton Family Singers. Their son David joined them and the Melton's began. The Melton's are a family group and throughout their years of ministry other family members have sang with the group. Kenny Melton and his wife Robin sang with the group for several years before leaving to start CrossWalk. The youngest Melton, Andrew, grew up singing with the family and traveled with them until he started high school. In 1998 David married Krista Kuhns and she started singing with the Melton's. Today the group is George, Nedra, David, and Krista, but occasionally other family members will sing with the family. All five of the Melton children Rhonda, David, Kenny, Rachel, and Andrew sing and it is always a joy when they minister with the Melton's. |
