Fifty Years And Going Strong!

Hello,

We are the Melton's.  We want to welcome you to our website.  We hope you can learn more about us and our ministry through this website.  If we have met you before in Concert or Revival we want to offer a special hello!  We look forward to seeing you as we travel the nation serving our Lord.

May God bless you richly,

The Meltons

QUICK NEWS!

Melton Trio alive and well!

The trio is made up of George, Nedra and Kenny. Kenny is George and Nedra's middle son and sang with the Melton Family Singers for serval years before leaving to sing with his twin sister in a group called Crosswalk. Crosswalk stopped singing as a team a couple of years ago, and as a result, Kenny is thrilled to now be back on the firing line with us. We are thrilled as well. Thank you Lord! We just finished a revival in Eades, CO and a tour into Florida. We are very pleased for the way people have received us and for the way they have responded to us. We look forward to seeing all our friends around the country as we continue working for the Lord and His people.

Dave and Krista are doing just fine in their new ministry in Ravenwood, MO. Dave is the preaching minister at Ravenwood Christian Church and seems to love every minute of the duties that go along with it. We are happy for them, but not really that happy with losing them as team members here. Dave had been with us for some 22 years. Please remember them in your prayers as we pray you remember us as well. We sure do love serving "Him" with "You!"

George, for all the Meltons

Kenny Starts Traveling Again!

As many of you know Kenny Melton sang with the Meltons for over 10 years before leaving to launch another ministry. We're excited to let you know that as of June 1st Kenny will once again travel with the Meltons. Kenny may not make every scheduled date as he will also give some concerts of his own. Kenny's voice and encouraging spirit have blessed people's hearts and we are excited to have him back with the Meltons.

If you would like to help Kenny with monthly support please e-mail us.

A Great Spring!

We had a great spring this year and are now looking forward to heading into the summer. Once again our schedule is filled with Family Camps. We look forward to seeing some of you as we visit all these camps.

Last Monday we had the privilege of singing at the funeral of a friend. She was 89 years old. What a Godly example she was to everyone. She had several sons and grandsons in the ministry. What a legacy.

We have held several revivals this spring. One of our revivals was held jointly with Tom Weaver of Rock Solid Ministries. Mr. Weaver has a donor who sponsors his ministry. This allows him to hold revivals at no expense to the local church. This is a real blessing to churches that otherwise could not afford to hold one. We thoroughly enjoyed the week of revival.

We have had the chance to reconnect and spend time with some long time friends and sing again at a few churches we hadn't been to in a while. It was encouraging to go back and see the progress churches our making for the Lord.

God Bless

Happy New Year!

Hello! We pray you've had a wonderful Christmas season! We had a great time with family. We were able to be home for a few weeks during the holidays which we enjoyed. Our Christmas concerts went well. This year we focused on "Jesus The Light Of The World." In January we'll be heading down to Louisiana for our annual tour there. We always enjoy seeing these friends.

We wish everyone a happy new year!

August News

Once again we had a wonderful time at Hillsboro Family Camp. David ran the sound for the meeting, and we sang on Thursday night. We enjoyed hearing all the good preaching and spending time with friends who come each year. The camp had 4200 throughout the week. Praise the Lord!

After Hillsboro we headed to Michigan where the men attended Northmen Men's retreat out in the wilds of northern Michigan. We then spent a few days singing in Michigan before heading back south.

Last week we spent three days in revival in McAlester, TX. We got the chance to spend time with our longtime friend Don Hicks and his new wife Marilou. We were glad to get to know her better.

On Sunday Evening we were at Memorial Park Christian Church in Tulsa, OK. The church is really growing! While there, George saw Roy Blackmore who first inspired him to enter the ministry 54 years ago. Krista was also pleasantly surprised when her Uncle Glen, Aunt Grace, and Second cousin Mollina came to the concert. It was great to see them.
